Fort Stevens State Park
Fort Stevens is located in Hammond, OR. This location was once a primary military defense center at the mouth of the Columbia River. Peter Iredale Ship Wreck

What is left of the wreckage is located in the Fort Stevens State Park area. You can drive up to the beach and park for free in this area. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. After you see the ship wreck stay for a while and enjoy the beautiful beach.
